I wondered if that could be it, but it seems odd that there is no other sign of any radio or speakers ever being installed on this Jeep.

Many were undermount with a self-contained speaker. Check under the lip of the dash, I’ll bet there’ll be holes.

Ok, so i’m just now realizing that my steering column is not stock, along with the saginaw conversion. But what the heck is it?

is there a standard steering wheel bolt pattern? Can anyone divine what this column might be from?

Looks to me like an early 60’s GM column and a Grant adapter. I have a similar tilt column in my Jeep.

This is the windshield frame from an Arctic Top that came on my 3a. Does anyone know what this bracket is that is welded to the bottom tube (inside)? It’s about to be removed if it’s not significant.

The column is definitely '60s GM from the turn signal lever, looks like Corvair or Corvette (they were the same for a few years).

But the bracket in question is already gone. :twist:
And I’m sure those racks are unobtainium.
    ...on my budget, anyway.

The empty rack being visible is a good theft deterrent.
