Putting rear disc brakes on the Jeep. The calipers have parking brakes on them. There was a thread were the handle was put between the seats. Anyone know what handle/leveler they used? I searched and can no find it.

Lokar makes a nice one. I'm pretty sure that build was carried over from the 2a page. It's a Photobucket victim though. 1948 CJ2A restomod build

M38A1 handle is between the seats, works well, and could be adapted.

Those Orscheln brake levers (your forklift lever) were used on Willys Wagons from the factory from about '60-'64, so they are original to some Jeeps. This operated the rear 11" drum brake parking brake cables.

I used 70's vintage Corolla handles in my 3B.

The left side is mechanically (rods/bearing ends) linked to the transfercase brake. Both were originally hooked individually to each side 4 decades back when I had 11x2 brakes on it. When those were swapped for discs, that lever was appropriated for the hydraulic brake on the Warn 5721 winch. It isn't hooked to anything now.

I'd like to see more of your set up, specifically the part under the handle that changes the pull from vertical to horizontal...

Scott, I liked your adaptation, and have wondered if it would be equally possible to mount the works under the floor?

Its just a pully bolted to the floor. I would of liked to of had the cable mounted more forward to get leverage. I couldn't figure out how to do it because of the ratchet locking mechanism was in the way.

I used a Lokar handle and cable set up to actuate the parking brakes. I put the handle on the trans tunnel, under the front bench seat, so just the handle part sticks out form beneath the seat. My rear calipers are from a 79 Cadillac and seem to work fine.

I think I saw an article where a member used a 60's Mustang parking brake handle between the seats, looked like it belonged there. Good luck
