I do, but I used it once and didn't like it. It took longer to set up than to just cut it with an angle grinder.

I have 4 (or 5, depending what I'm doing) grinders on a 5-way plug. Cutoff wheel, grinding wheel, knotted wire cup, and two with flap wheels, 80 & 120 grit. Rough it out with the cutoff wheel, go to the line with the grinder, then clean it up with the 80 grit. Takes about 2 minutes.

Don’t forget to add a 7 1/2” grinder to your mix for when things are extra extra ugly. Lol. Years ago I bought a nice Milwaukee when I was rebuilding a rotted out rollback bed for a customer. It’s heavy but still going strong. I wrote on it it’s name....the Animal Grinder.

    Yeah, I didn't mention them. I have a 9" buffer and a 7" grinder for the big stuff. :D
I also use the angle die grinder with sanding discs and the die grinder with carbide burrs for finish/detail work. You can never have enough tools.

fwiw there was a support rod but it went to the radiator and back to the cowl. you might see the hole for it in the picture above. If you can't bolt down your radiator it'll hold it in place nicely.

"What did you work on in the shop last night?"

"I sat on a stool, stared at the jeep for three hours and wanted to cry."

    -real conversation, 1-31-19

Sometimes I get such a feeling of overwhelm-ment that is debilitating when I think about my next step and what still needs to be covered. Some of the things I want to accomplish in this build are on the edge of what I know how to do, and more vitally, have the patience for.

On a bright note, my fan won't interfere with my axle on full stuff.
    1/4" clearance!!

I can definitely relate as I have spent hours cogitating on all the options and what my next move should be.

Not always a bad thing though, I have often "built" something 100 different ways in my mind before actually starting on it. Less re-work/scrap that way (y)
