A small, but fairly expensive piece of the puzzle for its weight....

I picked up a t-18 on Craigslist just so I could have this little guy. It was cheaper to buy the t-18 with the shift knob than order a shift knob by itself.

awesome. and it's the T-18 not the t-98? I thought I'd picked up a T-18 and it was a t-98 in disguise of grease and dust, either way, I got what I needed. Are you hanging onto it for spare parts (gears, reverse idler, shift tower, etc.)?

It's a t-18, probably the cleanest ever except maybe a NOS unit. Practically no wear on the 1st or reverse gears and a reverse light provision in the top cover. I think that if I ever need to work on mine, I'll just swap the adapter parts from mine over to this one.

These followed me home from the builder yesterday. Those are air fittings in both the front and rear.......

Thank you for the compliment. It was not my original idea.
Hi-lift makes a similar product called a bumper lift. Seen Here Bumper Lift | Hi-Lift® Jack Co.
You could easily replace the chain with a Shackle.

ARBs are the best. I had them on my TJ.

Started mounting the compressor. To avoid vibration I drilled the holes oversize and used grommets to isolate the bolts. I will end up putting a square of 1/8" belting under the compressor mount. For the underside nuts I have fender washers and rubber washers under them to spread out the load.

I bent the mounting bracket ears to match the arc of the fender.

Mock up of the compressor and valves. I sprung for the fill kit with the dedicated hose from ARB.

I massaged the headlight relays around to keep everything in line and tidy. All of this wiring will be put into convoluted tubing when completed.

Finalized the compressor mounting and configuration with rubber vibration washers under the mount and inside the fender. Between the grommets in the fender and the rubber on each side of the sheet metal, I think this should be about as quiet as possible.

Compressor configuration complete. I ditched the straight push to connect fittings supplied by ARB for some all metal 90 degree fittings. Should make for a much cleaner install. All of the wiring harness will be run through corrugated loom.

In a moment of indiscretion the PO of my jeep hacked a stereo hole in the dash. When I purchased the jeep I put one of these cj7 stereo delete panels on the dash to cover it up. This is the perfect spot for my ARB rocker switches.

After lots of drilling and filing.

This is my 4th time doing a tie rod flip now. My first go around I used the TMR customs bushings, second two were the Gofterit bushings. This last time I used the TMR customs bushings. IMO they are the only ones to use.
The Goferit bushings are welded on the tie rod end side of the bushing(top of the knuckle). When welded, this reduces the amount of articulation available for the tie rod end. The TMR bushings are welded on the nut side (bottom of the knuckle), and do not interfere with any tie rod articulation.
