Im converting a 1980 ish Turbo Regal HEI right now. Gutting it for the MSD 6AL config -- pretty easy. Odd fire ring was like $7.58 at Rock, forgot to order OF Cap.

Hardest part was trying to figure out the relative position the thing "points to" -- I had no clue! This diagram was helpful (upper left is odd-fire with "unused" terminals in black). I was so confused by the "8 o'clock 11 o'clock" references because I view the distributor from the Drivers side fender looking at the distributor, not front of vehicle. Also, the "Bat - Tach" should point towards the carb and vac advance to the radiator.

I came across another odd fire V-6 HEI issue...
I bought a NOS Delco Remy coil cover for the odd fire V-6 HEI unit previously shown.
    Here's what I got.

Uncovered cap next to the NOS coil cover.

Screw holes do not line up..................................???

Mmm. Looks like the odd-fire cap is modified from a V8 cap. The coil cover from a V8 might line up with those screws.

I would not do business with CRT. Performance Distributors has excellent customer service. CRT is a complete A-hole.

I agree I ended up getting the crt but I got no tracking information or confirmation email. I called several times and left messages and wrote several emails to find out the status . It just showed up at my house a month later in the mail. I hope i don’t have any problems with it because the do not reply back. It’s a terrible way to do business

I had no problems when I ordered and received my crt performance hei. All that said I haven’t installed it, I got the jeep running pretty well without it.
