Going to look real good once you're done. (y)

Take a lot of care to not breath in much of the burnt paint fumes, my old man got permanent shortness of breath and suffers from low blood oxygen levels from welding in a small space and breathing burnt paint fumes.

I started to make a rotisserie today out of engine stands, I had one from harbour freight and ordered another for $47.00 I got 2 four packs of rubber 4" castor wheels from lowes and I extended the stand so the tub can go 360 degrees.

    Hi Johns1967CJ5,

How did you fix the uneven panels on either side of the tailgate? They're fixed and flush in post #637, 640.

The drivers side fit even, the pass side is still 1/2" lower than the side panel. Not fixed yet but I plan on flattening out the 90 degree bend on the bottom of the side panel even with the other panel then just welding on a new bend

What I walked into today due to an ice dam in my driveway, probably not a good idea to weld while standing in this :poo: I need to move to someplace warm

When you're ready, I'll ship you my tub so you can do the same job on it :) great work, looking at my own tub it's a daunting project.

I bolted the floor supports right to the frame then tack welded a couple rods to hold it in place

Painted the inside with por-15 DTM paint

I measured from the rear riser (bumper) 51" and 67 1/2" to the center of the holes on the frame. Then since the tub is even with the riser just transferred those measurements

    [IMG] [IMG]

In my next life im going to put one of these tubs together with panel adhesive, just because

While at the grocery store today I picked up the latest Jeep magazine (looked at it there). There was a section on building a tub. I thought of you, you're totally keeping up with the pros.

    BTW...The magazine sure felt lite.
