74 dash panel?

Have you received your dash yet? If yes, what do you think?

 

I jave been waiting on the guy to respond back from about a month ago.He designed what it was going to look like and the total, but I sent him an email asking how to pay and a couple after that with no reply back.

 

Well that's disappointing. They look like they do really good work. It's a shame when you want to spend money with someone and the deal falls apart due to poor service. Hopefully you'll hear something before you're fed up and decide to go in another direction. Let us know if you make any progress with them. Good luck.

 

I'm just hoping he got busy with other things or hasn't checked his email for a while. The custom design is amazing, and as of now I don't have another direction due to lack of refab stock dashes for our year. I will definitely keep you guys posted and fingers crossed. Thanks!

aqualu makes a stock or you can customize the dash..

wasn't expensive either..

I received my dash as well. A couple of points to consider when thinking about the DD dash; this is not his full time job, so don't be in a rush, and these are laser cut instead of stamped, so they are not exactly like the factory dash, mainly around the glove box. Otherwise, it is indistinguishable from the factory dash in locations of the various hole placement. These are in no way considered a criticism, just sharing what I found. Overall, I am pleased with the dash I ordered and would not hesitate to order another if needed. I really appreciated the owner sending me a pic to make sure the layout was what I wanted in the beginning.

 

I went to an HVAC ductwork fab shop that I knew and gave them dimension and had them break the metal around the perimeter. Then just drilled the holes for the bolts and laid out my gauges and cut and installed them. Cut the hole for the steering column and glove compartment.
