    Thanks!!

Thanks for that bit of info Ryan. I'm getting ready to re-tune my FI and I've noticed that it doesn't seem to like the 14 AFR I've been using. I'm getting some detonation when it goes into the Idle cell and that is probably part of the problem.

My only likes 14afr cruising on level ground. Acceleration it likes closer to 13-13.7. Hope this helps.

Mike, I would be glad to send you my fuel tables and basic settings.

I understand how the wide band works. We are getting them now on the darts. Fiat stuff is getting them. I guess what I ment was once you have the tune set, do you really need the extra fine tuning from it running around every day? I was under the impression that once it was set you could switch out to the regular narrow band since it is will read within the opperating range of it.

    Curious minds want to know;)

Might be a turbo thing why they have to use them. I know they run richer or leaner than a narrow band will read so they have to.

What are the high and lows on a normal tune for the 225?

Yes, once you have a tune for your 225 you can switch to a NB O2 sensor. If your thinking of using someone else's tune then have a narrow band set up. Tuning will still be more difficult. Yes the wide band is great for turbo set ups because they really need to avoid detonation.

Ill have to see what I can get one for at work.
I had to take a short online course for them. Instead of measuring the difference between the exhaust gas and outside oxygen wide bands are sealed. The extra wires are for an oxygen pump that creates a reaction of metal plates inside. It's able to detect a wider range that way.
In off road riding I would think the wide band would work better because they are sealed. Ive seen some narrow band sensors thowing codes because of mud

Ok back to working on this a little at a time. Gonna get a new set of headers in a few weeks but right now looking to find out what kind of electric fuel pumps you guys are using for your setups.
Right now I have a TBI unit from a 1991 Astro van with a 4.3 v6. Picking up a new Throttle position sensor tomorrow along with a basic rebuild kit.

Planning on picking this up in a week or so to help make programming a little easier.

holley blue pump or wasbro GSL395 are the only good candidate for external pump. If you go internal just buy the fuel pump for you're application.

Well the Holley blue pumps states right in the info not designed or recommended for fuel injection. So that's out.

I've been running a blue pump since the install of my tbi system 6 month. The Po that sold me the tbi kit used this pump the last 5 year without any issu.

Blue have a max of 14 psi, with a 110 gph, tbi system need around 9-14 psi to run well.

if you do some search as i did (because i broke magnet in the pump trying to service it) you will find that lot's of people are using the blue for tbi. I'll try 3 different pump that suppose to work with tbi and i had issu at WOT. So i order a blue pump and everything is working fine.

Ok, so that might be a candidate, I went by Holley's website data.

Yeah that's what i read too. I may be right because the only injection system that need a 9-14 psi are the early tbi system (89-91). All other injection system use a higher psi to run, so holley may have put this advise for this reason.

Walbro pumps are what I use as well. Both the PowerJection and EZ-EFI run @ 45 psi and use the same pump setups.

Finished rebuilding the TBI for my project, only need the idle air control valve replaced.
I will start making the adapter for the intake this weekend.
The aluminum case in the background is the megasquirt, mine is the version 2 mini megasquirt, its in a waterproof case with an ampseal waterproof connector.
Need to start the wiring harness in the next week or so also.
This TBI is from a 1991 4.3 Chevy Astro van based on the serial number on the unit.

Well I haven't found one to fit the stock manifold but I think I can CNC them for $35 after checking prices of aluminum. I think I can make them on my CNC in about 15 minutes each.

My Mini-Megasquirt all finished, except the bulkhead fitting to hook a hose to the MAP sensor. Time to start on the wiring harness.
