Sure its been asked somewhere but does anyone have plans for one of these bantam trailers? They look pretty easy to build.

X2...I'm thinking about making one also. The new Jeep trailers are crazy expensive and the real ones are hard to come by in good shape.

No kidding. $200-$300 for material, another $100 for axle, springs and hubs, then tires and lights. Probably $50 or so in beer.:D

That's more than I have in mine. There are deals out there, you just have to do a little digging. However there's nothing wrong in making one from scratch.

True. I found one after a phone call for $700 but will take a bunch of work. A friend has one that I'm going to borrow and draw up a print in a cad program. I think it would be fun to do..

I looked at one trailer this evening. Pretty simple build. Its a M-4xx, can't remember the numbers, but there is no tailgate. I will measure that one the best I can. Its also square fender. The other one I'm going to look at is a M-100 and that will be either saturday or sunday.

I'm sure its out there, but other than the fenders is there anything different between the M-416 and the M-100? I would love to get my hands on a set of plans for one as well. I guess I'd need to learn to weld if I did.

You may want to go to G503 - Jeep Draw. http://www.jeepdraw.com/ In the Bantam trailer link (TM 10-1281) you can find quite a bit of information including trailer dimensions.
